Since moving to Salem, Oregon 25 years ago, I have  been involved heavily in dog and cat rescue, including fostering when needed. 

 I have  fostered over 1100 kittens and adults, and several dogs (many in need of serious medical care).  I am experienced in all areas of cat care, including giving injections, sub-q fluids, pilling, ear cleaning and nail trimming. Much of my experience/skills  were  gained while working at Salem Friends of Felines(SFOF)  ,and a local vet clinic. I have also  served on the SFOF Board of Directors and managed their foster program.
